In 2011, I received a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, marking the onset of a relentless battle against the condition. Amidst various strategies, one stands out as paramount: sports.
Throughout this journey, I’ve come to realize the glaring disparities within the realm of sports for individuals with disabilities.
From treatment access to logistical support and recognition, the gap remains significant.
The genuine opportunity for individuals with disabilities to thrive as athletes is often lacking. Nevertheless, I persist in training and competing across multiple disciplines, including surfing, paddle surfing, rowing, and boxing. Notably, kickboxing occupies a central role, where I’ve assumed the role of a trailblazer and advocate for parakickboxing in Spain. My achievements include several national championship titles.
